1) The admin security gateway that we set up was not working after the site transfer, so (for now) we had to disable that.

2) The full-sized VirtueMart images are not loading properly (for example, see here, you notice the thumbs are there but when you click them they don’t link to the full sized images which are on the server).  We have determined that the issue is that Joomla is not using the “direct links” method, and as a result the full sized images are not being properly rendered.

We have established that there are (at least) two possible solutions to this issue:

1) The first one is to install an older version of PHP that is more compatible with Joomla 1.5.26.

2) An alternative to this would be to modify the Joomla code to use “direct links” so that the images on the site would again display correctly.

Based on our research, option #1 is by far the simplest and easiest option.  I have spoken with MT, and they say we don’t have to remove the version of PHP that is there now, we can install another version of PHP that can run side by side (co-exist) with the version of PHP that is on there.  That should not be an issue, but we just need to make sure that the version of PHP that we install is the correct one (I can find out which one if needed) and that it is used as the default at least for the mjjcollectors.com site.

Does the above (installing a version of PHP to the DV via Plesk and linking it to our other web site) sound like something you could do?
